RL-3000 is a fully software-defined 3D long- range air surveillance radar system that provides three dimensional surveillance information. These information are provided to a system with a comprehensive situational overview of aerial situation. RL-3000 detects all threats within the declared detection range.
The radar is determined for continuous monitoring of airspace, detection and classification of individual types of objects with different Radar Cross Section (RCS) and speed.
The system uses the latest processing technology utilizing a powerful fail soft architecture and advanced detection and extraction algorithms. Therefore it is capable to process large amounts of data and adaptively suppress not only ground clutter but also sea clutter.
The radar can be extended with an MSSR (Monopulse Surveillence Secondary Radar) system having full Mode S interrogator capability, or IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) interrogator capability.
