Sustainability Report

Although our company does not issue a standalone sustainability report, we are fully integrated into the broader sustainability reporting framework of the CSG Group. Our efforts and progress in this area are included in the CSG Sustainability Report, which provides an overview of the group's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

From the 2024 reporting period onward, sustainability information will be included in the "Integrated Report" of the CSG, combining financial and non-financial sustainability data in accordance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

ELDIS Pardubice develops an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policy, particularly in the following areas:

• Corporate Governance

Our corporate governance ensures that all decision-making processes are guided by integrity, accountability, and transparency. We maintain robust oversight of sustainability goals, ensuring that our actions align with our values and the CSG Group's commitment to responsible business.

We continue to increase the transparency of our business. We regularly issue an annual report that details our financial results, strategy, and activities in sustainable development. Communication with the media is very important to us, and we actively participate in interviews and press conferences to share our values and achievements. Our employees are bound by a Code of Ethics, and if necessary, they have access to an anonymous hotline for reporting instances of legal or ethical misconduct.

We are fully aware of our responsibility toward sustainability and actively work toward achieving our goals. We believe that our efforts will have a positive impact on the environment, society, and the community in which we operate.

• Environmental Responsibility

As a company, we understand the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations. Our approach to environmental care reflects our commitment to the planet, aligned with the CSG sustainability goals for a responsible future.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing processes are energy-intensive; therefore, we invest in modern technologies and equipment that reduce energy consumption and optimize resource use. Additionally, as part of our sustainable practices, we focus on proper waste disposal and minimization, prioritizing recycling and material reuse. Within the framework of a responsible supply chain, we carefully select our suppliers, working mainly with those who adhere to sustainable practices and standards. Supporting suppliers who value social responsibility and environmental protection is crucial for the overall sustainability of the manufacturing process. Our company also focuses on developing environmentally friendly materials and processes that can have a long-term positive impact on the environment. In this area, we educate our employees through training and motivate them to take an active approach to environmental protection.

Ecology and Environment

In 2023, we continued implementing measures to reduce our ecological footprint. Corporate production processes are designed with an emphasis on energy efficiency and waste minimization. Investments in modern technologies help reduce energy and water consumption. We regularly conduct audits to identify areas where we can improve our environmental efforts and are certified under ISO 14001:2016 Environmental Management System (EMS).

We care about protecting the environment not only within our operations but also in the vicinity of our enterprise. In 2023, we continued initiatives to support biodiversity by installing birdhouses, feeders, and insect hotels on our premises, providing shelter for local species and supporting surrounding ecosystems. This contributes to the conservation of local fauna and flora.

• Social Responsibility

We are committed to fostering a workplace culture that is safe, inclusive, and supportive. Our people are our most valuable asset, and we invest in their well-being through comprehensive health and safety initiatives and continuous professional development.

Support for Individuals with Disabilities

For several consecutive years, our company has supported the "Hope for Sofinka" project, which provides financial assistance to families with children affected by cancer and contributed to Sofinka’s treatment, who was born with a rare genetic condition, spinal muscular atrophy in its most severe form. Additionally, we supported the Early Care Center specializing in comprehensive care for children with various disabilities. The company also contributed financially to the purchase of medical equipment for the Neonatal Department of Pardubice Hospital. Our most recent supported project was the Svítání Primary and Practical School, to which we donated funds for necessary renovations for the special education of its pupils.

Support for Sports and Culture

We are also active supporters of sports and culture in the Pardubice region. Among the significant sports activities we have partnered with are the Golden Helmet motorcycle speedway races. Culturally, we support the Aviation Fair, which provides an aerial show and entertainment for the public. Lastly, we have proudly served as the general partner for three years of a children's entertainment event held annually in Pardubice called "Children's Super Day." Today, we remain a partner of this event.
