ELDIS hosted an international working meeting
"At the end of October, ELDIS hosted an international working meeting on the topic of 'Monitoring Frequencies 1030/1090 MHz,' under the auspices of the European air transport coordinator, EUROCONTROL. In attendance at ELDIS were representatives from the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA), Hungarian TEGE Elektronik, the Czech Republic Army (26th Regiment of Command, Control, and Reconnaissance), and the military regulator (Supervision Department of Military Aviation). The academic sphere was represented by the University of Defense in Brno (UNOB).
Altogether, nearly thirty experts in radar technologies gathered at ELDIS for two days of presentations, exchange of experiences, and discussions on the specific issues.
The presentations, particularly those by the EUROCONTROL CNS Monitoring team, proved to be highly stimulating and set the tone for the entire meeting with their expertise. It became evident that these meetings play a crucial role in strengthening collaboration with this paramount air traffic coordinator in Europe. A tangible outcome includes an invitation to participate in EUROCONTROL's working group dedicated to the development and review of emerging sector-specific standards, as well as requirements for common measurements of the utilization of specific frequencies."
