ELDIS collects pre-Christmas awards. It has been named the exporter of the year.

In the eve of Christmas, the leading radar manufacturer ELDIS Pardubice received two awards in two prestigious entrepreneur competitions. In the 26th year of a survey-based competition held by the Czech Chamber of Commerce it won the MSE Exporter of the Year. In addition, ELDIS Pardubice got a Czech Business Superbrands 2021 award. The radar manufacturer from Pardubice is a member of an Industrial-Technological Holding called Czechoslovak Group (CSG), specifically its specialized division CSG Aerospace. Another winner of one of the major competition categories was the Tatra Trucks vehicle manufacturer.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic the results of the 26th year of the Exporter of the Year contest were announced on-line and the broadcast could be followed by nominees on YouTube. Therefore, this year’s competition was marked with a special name: The Exporter of the Year 2020 – “The Record Export Year and the Coronavirus Phantom”.
Besides President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce representing sixtycompanies, more than two-hour long on-line conference was also attended, for instance, by the Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček or the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tomáš Petříček. The attendees were greeted by President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman, Speaker of the Senate Miloš Vystrčil and Chairman of the House of Deputies Radek Vondráček.
ELDIS Pardubice scored in the MSE Exporter of the Year category thanks to the largest export increase in the period 2018-2019 when the company recorded an increase in export by applaudable 244 %. The great success of the CSG Group in this competition was further emphasized by the Tatra Trucks vehicle manufacturer which won the category of a year-on-year increase in experts among large enterprises. During the period in concern the exports reported by the car manufacturer grew by 71 %. Both awards bear witness to the clear pro-export orientation of the CSG Group.
“The past years have been quite favorable for ELDIS Pardubice. In addition to the fact that our radars have covered most of the territory of India for several years, we have obtained significant job orders abroad in the previous years. To mention at least some of our accomplishments, I can accent our successful participation in a tender for supply of radars for thirteen airports in China or efficacious installations in Jordan or Bulgaria. Recently, we have won a selection procedure for supply of radar systems for three military airports in Slovakia,“ says Aleš Jedlička, CEO of ELDIS Pardubice.
Apart from the Exporter of the Year distinction, the Pardubice-based manufacturer of radar equipment is also a proud holder of the prestigious designation Czech Business Superbrands 2021. According to an email received on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 by ELDIS Pardubice from the organizer of the Superbrands CE contest, the ELDIS brand name asserted itself among the selected set of the awarded enterprises in the 2020 comparison of successful performance of B2B brands.
“Our company has been thriving recently. In the last three years we have managed to increase its staff from 150 to 250 people and our turnover has grown by nearly 100 %. Currently, we are finishing construction of a new production hall with administrative facilities, which will enable our production figures to become even bigger. I do appreciate that we have successfully overcome a complicated year marked with the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, I would like to dedicate both awards to all our company’s workers. It is thanks to them that we have succeeded,” adds Aleš Jedlička.
